This smaller hall has a maximum capacity of 32 under current guidelines. It is ideal for smaller group meetings although it lacks a screen, loudspeakers or induction loop. There is a serving hatch connecting this hall to the kitchen. It has been used by smaller groups and used for choir practice by both church and external choirs.
This is the larger of the two halls in Portland. The capacity is 40 under the present Government guidelines. It has a screen, loudspeakers and an induction loop so can be used for presentations. Examples of its use are OIR meetings and talks, badminton, table tennis and a junior theatre group. It has also been booked for children’s parties in the past.
